
Hadassa Waxman
Hadassa Waxman is a partner in the Litigation Department, and a member of the White Collar and Securities Litigation Groups.
Hadassa has extensive experience as a prosecutor, most recently serving as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. She also has experience as Co-Chief of the General Crimes Unit, supervising approximately 50 AUSA’s during their first year in the office. In that role, she supervised 30 trials, tried nine trials of her own, and oversaw more than 1,000 unit cases involving wire fraud, mail fraud, tax fraud, money laundering, cybercrime and corporate criminal liability, among others. Additionally, she has tried nine jury trials during her tenure.
Hadassa is an adjunct professor of clinical law at NYU School of Law. She received her B.A. from Brandeis University; a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics; and her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Scholar.
